Medication consultations are conducted as 60 minute virtual appointments with a Clarity Pediatrics pediatrician; medication follow-up visits are scheduled for 30 minutes, weekly, as needed.
Families who elect the medication consult will receive:
- Education about stimulant medications for ADHD, with ample time to answer questions
- Other non-pharmacologic interventions such as nutritional strategies, sleep hygiene, and aerobic activity are also discussed
- If family elects to start a stimulant medication, it can be prescribed at the end of the consult
