ADHD care personalized for your family
You’ll receive a treatment plan tailored to your child or teen’s needs and your family’s goals. We specialize in behavioral therapy programs for ADHD.
Your Clarity journey
Your first appointment at Clarity Pediatrics is a virtual visit with a licensed pediatric clinician who specializes in ADHD. They can evaluate your child or teen for ADHD or discuss your family’s goals with a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis. This is like a regular doctor’s appointment, and your insurance will be billed for the virtual visit.
You’ll leave the first appointment with a personalized treatment plan. Most families choose to enroll in Behavioral Parent Training (BPT), the gold-standard for pediatric ADHD care, but you can also explore our other services with your clinician.

ADHD Screenings
Our licensed child psychologists can evaluate your child for ADHD. Our virtual screening process consists of two appointments and includes a review of your child’s relevant medical history, input from your child’s teacher, and behavioral observation and clinical interviews with both your child and their parents/caregivers.
If your child meets the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, our team will provide you with an evidence-based ADHD treatment plan that may include behavioral therapy programs and/or a referral for a medication consultation. If your child does not meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, our team will provide resources and treatment recommendations, as appropriate.
Please note: these appointments are considered a clinical service. For billing information, please see our FAQs.

Program Consultations
If your child already has a diagnosis of ADHD, our licensed mental health providers will meet with you to understand your family’s goals and help determine if Behavioral Parent Training (BPT) may be a good fit for your family. Our virtual consultation process includes a review of your child’s relevant medical history and clinical interviews with the parents/caregivers.
At the conclusion of the consultation, our team will provide you with an evidence-based ADHD treatment plan that may include behavioral therapy programs and/or a referral for a medication consultation.
Please note: this appointment is a clinical service. For billing information, please see our FAQs.

Behavioral Therapy Programs
We offer several virtual group therapy programs for families of children with ADHD. These groups meet weekly with a dedicated licensed mental health provider who is a pediatric ADHD expert.
Behavioral Parent Training (BPT) teaches science-backed parenting skills to increase positive behaviors, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and set families up for success through prompts and routines. Each BPT group meets for eight weeks at the same day/time and is attended by parents only.
For families of children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 1, we offer a specialized alternative to BPT called RUBI Parent Training. RUBI teaches many of the same skills as BPT, but with additional consideration given to ASD-related behaviors. Each RUBI group meets for eleven weeks at the same day/time and is attended by parents only.
Managing Big Emotions helps families support children during moments of high emotion through expanding your emotion vocabulary, understanding triggers, and using emotion coaching techniques to strengthen emotional resilience. Each MBE group meets for eight weeks at the same day/time and is attended by parents only.
Homework Organization Made Easy teaches children in second through sixth grade (ages 8 - 12) skills for homework organization, including managing time, tracking and prioritizing assignments, and organizing school materials. Each HOME group meets for eight weeks at the same day/time, and both children and parents/caregivers attend these sessions.

Medication Management & Lifestyle Medicine
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends BPT, school-based interventions, and FDA-approved medication for school-age children with ADHD. If medication is of interest to your family, or a part of your current care plan, our licensed pediatricians can conduct an ADHD medication consultation. In this virtual appointment, a pediatrician will share information about stimulant medications and lifestyle changes as part of an evidence-based treatment plan for ADHD, with plenty of time for questions.
If your family decides to initiate ADHD medication with Clarity Pediatrics, our pediatricians will write the prescription(s), handle titration, monitor for side effects, assist with refills, and conduct regular virtual check-ups in coordination with your child’s pediatrician.
Clarity Pediatrics’ medication management service is not a replacement for your child’s primary care physician and only covers medication as part of an ADHD treatment plan. Learn more about our medication management service in our FAQs.
